In every house, in every country, on every continent on the face of this earth, there is a plate or a dish of some kind sitting on a table that the human in that house has designated the “Bowl-O-Junk”- you know what I’m talking about: The place you go to see if you left your keys there, to find a safety pin to keep the feather on your cap, perhaps there is a biro that probably won’t work but you’re going to try to write with it anyway, there’s definitely an old bandaid from 6 years ago at the bottom, probably some pebbles from that beach you visited in 2009 and didn’t know where else to put them (or why you felt you had to pick them up to begin with- you don’t collect rocks?). Anyway, this bowl exists, you know it, we know it, and gosh darn if we don’t just want it to be spectacular for you! These platters were designed for showing off seasonal produce, as a delightful centrepiece when entertaining, a coffee-table conversation starter if you will, but we all know exactly what they’ll truly be used for & we hope that every time you go digging around for some spare ibuprofen in there that the colours and fluid patterns will spark joy in your heart & you’ll remember why living is grand!
