Reclaimed Solid Hardwood Oak, Beech or Iroko Chopping Boards

Solid Hardwood Chopping Boards, made from reclaimed kitchen worksurfaces.  Available in Oak, Beech, or Iroko.  Medium & Large are available with or without juice groove on one side.I try to use every piece of timber, so the boards do vary in size.  They are treated with a food safe oil.Extra Large | average size 40x60cm | size range 36-40cm x 56-60cmLarge | average size 30x40cm | size range 26-30cm x 36-40cmMedium |average size 24x32cm | size range 21-25cm x 30-35cmSmall | average size 18x24cm | size range 16-20cm x 22-26cmSmall Square | average size 20x20cm | size range 18×18 – 21x21cm squareEach board will be 3 to 4 cm thick.If you’d like a bespoke size, please get in touch.Whenever possible in Lifetimber products I use second life timber that has had a previous life as something else, is reclaimed or salvaged or often was waste or offcuts from another project or woodworker. Most of the wood that I use is reclaimed or offcut hardwoods that are naturally slow growing. This timber is always beautiful and often has character that means it was hard for others to use. I always work with the natural beauty of the wood, highlighting, celebrating and enhancing the natural flaws, knots and patina.The core philosophy of Lifetimber’s process is to minimise waste: I try to make use of every ounce of wood that comes into my workshop, even the sawdust!
