The captive pin locking system – where the pin is retained by a lanyard attached to the flange – ensures the pulley stays securely closed during use while allowing quick and easy rope insertion. All flange edges are rounded to minimise rope friction and wear. With a breaking load of 100kN and compatibility with ropes up to 16mm, the Eclipse 2 is well suited to a wide range of arborist rigging operations. For larger ropes, the FTC Eclipse 3 (18mm, 150kN) is also available.
