Constructed with a double polyester braid and treated with Samthane™ finish, it provides an ideal combination of durability, flexibility and stability under load. The 14 mm (9/16″) diameter makes it particularly suitable for controlled rappelling maneuvers, pulling log sections and complex felling. The average breaking load is 6,000 kg, while the working limit is set at 1,200 kg, offering a large margin of safety. Theextremely low elongation (1.1 percent at 10 percent of MBS) allows precise control during loading and unloading of the system. The Samthane™ finish not only increases surface strength, but also improves the rope’s smoothness on pulleys, clutches or bollards. This makes it one of the most popular rigging ropes forintensive use in the field, especially in professional tree work.
